Lonnie Wayne White, age 67 of Hendersonville, TN passed away January 31, 2023, surrounded by his family. Lonnie was born on October 10, 1955 in Hamilton County, Chattanooga, TN to the late Gene White and the late Reba Inez Spraggs.
Lonnie was a huge NASCAR fan. He loved truck driving, visiting with family and friends and fixing up old cars. He could tell some great stories and loved to make you laugh. Next to his family, he adored his dogs. He will certainly be missed.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 38 years, Sarah Elizabeth Hodge and his son, Donnie Lee White.
Lonnie is survived by his life partner, Velma Lynn Saunders Manuel and children, Robert Rabideau, Ronald White, Ashley Saunders, T.J. "Tooter" Saunders and Bryan Saunders; grandchildren, Alabama White, Arizona White, Aron White, Andrew White, Breanna White, Bubby White, Bradley Harris, Carmen Saunders and Kanaan Saunders; and great-grandchildren, Kaidynce Porter. E.J. Porter, Jaidyn Porter, Kylin White, Nelli Rhodes, Mia White, and Xamiri White. Lonnie also had several brothers and sisters, cousins, nieces and nephews and many friends.
