Lynne Ann Miller Gaumer passed away Thursday, November 13, 2025 surrounded by loved ones. Lynne was born July 7, 1953 in Stockton, California to her parents Walter Dale and Ella Imogene Miller.

She graduated from Stagg High School in 1971 and then attended Abilene Christian College in Abilene, Texas and then Columbia Christian College in Portland, Oregon. It was at Columbia Christian College where Lynne met Thomas Gaumer, whom she fell in love with and the two were married in Stockton, CA in 1974. Tom and Lynne built a beautiful life in Stockton, CA for 27 years, where they raised two sons, Ryan and Derek, whom she loved dearly.

Lynne was a strong woman of faith and for almost 20 years, she and her husband served as youth group leaders for Central Church of Christ (Stockton, CA) and at Sierra Bible Camp. She became known to many teens as a mother figure due to her unconditional love she gave to them. Lynne was accepting and warm and had a way of making everyone feel loved and welcomed into her family.

After their children were adults, they moved to Oregon City, OR in 2005 where they attended Metro Church of Christ. In 2022, they moved to Castalian Springs, TN and attended Maple Hill Church of Christ. Lynne made long-lasting friendships wherever she lived. She was known for her infectious smile and sense of humor, but also for her craft skills which she used to create many wonderful gifts for her family and friends, but especially for those who were in need of encouragement. Her family and friends will treasure those gifts, as well as the memories.

Lynne was preceded in death by her parents, Dale and Imogene, and her brothers, Keith and Russell. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Tom; children, Ryan (Katie) Gaumer of Richland, WA and Derek (Jennifer) Gaumer of Gallatin, TN; grandchildren, Colin, Brynn, and Zoey of Richland, WA; and her brother, Ken (Carolee) Miller of Merced, CA.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00pm, Saturday, December 6, 2025 at Maple Hill Church of Christ in Lebanon, TN. The family will receive friends from 2:00pm until the time of service at the church. A reception will be held immediately following the service.
