Melissa Ann Brown

Melissa Ann Brown, age 49 of Portland, passed away May 11, 2024.

Melissa was preceded in death by her grandparents. Frank and Addie Morris; grandfathers, Robert Leon Jernigan and Howell Hardin; and sister, Elizabeth Morris.

She is survived by her husband, Randy Brown; mother and step-father, Susan and Gary Hardin; father, JC Morris; and grandmother, Martha Hardin; step-children, Daniel Brown, Sarah Brown, and Amy Brown; aunt, Holly Dickens (Chris); and brother, Michael Mangrum.

Melissa was a wonderful woman; she enjoyed being around people and her family; she enjoyed being outside and working in her yard; and she loved her church, First Baptist Church Gallatin.

A Celebration of Melissa's life will be held on Monday, May 20, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. from First Baptist Church Gallatin with Pastor Travis Fleming officiating. Visitation with the family will be on Monday from 12:00 P.M. until time of service.
