Milton David Jones, age 60 of Gallatin, passed away on March 23, 2026.

A 1985 graduate of Gallatin High School, David distinguished himself as a gifted athlete, participating actively in football and excelling in baseball during his formative years. His athletic abilities were one of his proudest accomplishments, a testament to his commitment and competitive spirit. Beyond his school years, he nurtured a lifelong affinity for fishing, actively competing in local fishing tournaments and enjoying countless hours on the water.

David was born and died in the same community he cherished: Gallatin, Tennessee. He is survived by his sons Brenton Jones (Katie) and Bradley Jones (Elizabeth); grandchildren, Daniella, Ava, Isaac, Audrey, and Jacob. Additionally, he leaves behind his brother Ricky Jones, along with numerous nieces and nephews who will remember him fondly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Milton "Billy" and Betty Jones, and his sister Penny Mackie. 

Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday, March 30, 2026 at 1:30 in Ramsey Hall at First United Methodist Church Gallatin with Pastor Steven Lee officiating. Interment will follow in Crestview Memory Gardens. Visitation with the family will be on Monday from 10:00 A.M. until time of service.
