Patrick Damon Fathera, aged 49, passed on August 1, 2026. Born to Daniel Fathera and the late Linda Hollis on July 18, 1977, in Nashville, Tennessee, Patrick lived a life filled with laughter, generosity, and the love for helping others.

Patrick, a native of Mount Juliet, Tennessee, spent most of his career as a plumber. However, his expertise extended far beyond plumbing; he dabbled in various fields, from car repairs to restaurant management. His versatility and skill set were truly remarkable. Throughout his career, Patrick formed close friendships that he cherished as family. As an avid Tennessee Titans fan, he even had a decked-out Titan-themed “Man Cave” and two Titans tattoos to showcase his passion. He was a season ticket holder for many years and enjoyed tailgating with his friends. Patrick’s love for water was evident in his activities. Whether he was captaining a boat or simply relaxing in the sand, he found immense joy being near water.

Patrick was someone who you could always call no matter what the time of day. He showed up for everyone he cared about, and his willingness truly had no limits. He decided in January of 2025 he wanted to accept help and make a change in his life that would forever leave an impact. He flew to Tampa, Florida where he began treatment at River Oaks Treatment Center. This was the start of a whole new perspective on life for Patrick and he never looked back. He proved that no matter how hard the circumstance or what life throws his way, he would accomplish anything he set his mind to. He spent the rest of his sobriety ensuring everyone who needed help or encouragement had it. After spending four months in Florida, he returned home with a renewed sense of purpose and a commitment to helping others. In August 2025, Patrick was asked by New Life Group to tell his story to help inspire others to “Never Give Up.” He began working for Triony Behavioral Health, where he held pride in what he did and wanted to let everyone know sobriety is worth it. As someone who worked so hard on their sobriety, Patrick spent some of his final days serving his community and mentoring others.

Above all, being a dad was his pride and joy. He wanted the best for his kids, and he did everything he could to ensure fun was always had. Whether it was taking his kids to Titans games, singing in the car, trying new restaurants or picking up their favorite snacks from the store, he always included his kids in everything he did. He will live on through his children because the love he has shown could never be forgotten. He never missed an opportunity to let his kids know how much he loved them and how proud of them he was.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Lou Hollis and his Best Friend, Phillip Molloy. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Lia; his father, Daniel (Valerie) Fathera; his daughters, Amber (Kyler), Gracie, Maci; his son, Blake; his three grandchildren, Kase, Kallie and Melody; along with his brothers, Todd (Leatha) Fielder, Ryan Fathera; and his sister, Dana (Dylan) Davis, and many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Patrick’s life will be held at Sumner Funeral & Cremation Lakeside in Hendersonville on Thursday, August 6, 2026 at 5:30 P.M. Visitation with the family will be from 2:00 P.M. until time of service. 

The family asks that you wear Titans apparel or Titans colors in honor of Patrick.
