Phillip Denton Lynch

Phillip “Phil” Denton Lynch, age 71, of Hendersonville, Tennessee passed away on November 1, 2023. Phil was born on December 24, 1951 in Akron, Ohio to the late Orba and Mattie Lynch.

Phil is preceded in death by his parents.

Phil is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Rebecca Lynch; children, Ian (Amanda) Lynch and Ryan (Caley) Lynch; grandchildren, Briana, Layla, Declan, Emma, and Liam; his brother, Pat (Mary)  Lynch; and sister, Margie Lynch.

Phil served honorably in the Marine Corps from 1969-1973. He loved to duck hunt and go fishing. Phil was a locksmith for 25 years with Custom Lock Service. Phil’s family was everything to him; he loved his children and grandchildren more than anything. Phil’s favorite thing to do was to cheer on his grandchildren in anything they took on.

A Service honoring Phil will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 2:00PM at Grace Church, located at 1604 Long Hollow Pike, Gallatin, TN 37066. Visitation with the family will be from 1:00PM until the time of service.  Burial will be later at a later date.
