Rebecca “Becky” Brown Coleman, age 90 of Gallatin, passed away February 18, 2026. Becky was born on October 6, 1935 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Levi Clifton Brown and the late Bessie A. Brown. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Donald Coleman, and brother, Thomas Clifton Brown.

Becky is survived by her sons, D. Clifton Coleman (Lisa) and Andrew N. Coleman (Jayne); her grandchildren; Kate Coleman Nickerson (Preston), Andrew Coleman (Kaitlyn), and Kathryn Coleman Russell (Kylar); her great-grandchildren, Syler Nickerson; and Remington Kate Coleman. She is also survived by her brother, Richard Levi Brown; her sisters, Carolyn Brown Cashion (Bobby) and Joan Brown Ayres (Dan); nephew, Jason Cashion (Stacey); niece, Jill Cashion.

Born in Nashville, but raised in Springfield, TN and Adairville, KY, Becky graduated from Adairville High School. She later worked for the telephone company until she married and became a homemaker. They moved to Gallatin in 1972 where she enjoyed volunteering in the nursery at Indian Hills Baptist Church for many years. She later moved her membership to First Baptist Church in Gallatin.

A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. in the Mausoleum at Sumner Memorial Gardens with Pastor Travis Fleming officiating.
