Robert Thearon "Robbie" Watts Jr., age 61 of Goodlettsville, TN passed away February 6, 2024. He was born June 12, 1962 in Nashville, TN to Robert Thearon Watts Sr. and Evelyn Joyce Jacob Watts.

Robbie grew up in Nashville, attending Maplewood High School and graduating from Whites Creek High, Class of 1980.  He went into the automotive business early in life, owning Hendersonville Transmission and later, The Shop.  He enjoyed fishing, four-wheeling, fast cars, but his family was always number one.  He loved travelling, whether to the beach or going on a cruise, just so long as he didn’t have to get on an airplane. On Saturdays in the fall, he could be found surrounded by family and friends, Crown Royal in hand, watching Tennessee football.

Robbie was preceded in death by his parents; father-in law, Gary Hudson; sister, Faye Buck; and brother, Howard Edison.

He is survived by his loving wife, Regina Hudson Watts; mother-in-law, Christine Hudson; nieces, Stacey (Brian) Cozine and Christy J. Buck; nephews, Matthew and Jackson Cozine;  sister, Deborah Tharp; brothers, Ronnie Watts and Bobby Wayne Watts; nephew, Charles “Billy” Beasley;  close friends, Ronnie (Chris) Heath and their children, Lucas, Kaitlin and Wil Taylor; his close circle of friends from The Shop; four-legged family members, Wiggles, Maggie Mae, and Moo; and many extended family members and friends.

A celebration of Robbie’s life will be conducted at 5 p.m., Saturday, February 10, 2024 in the Chapel of Sumner Funeral and Cremation Lakeside with Minister Leslie Chapman officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
