Ronald Richard Heyn Sr., age 93, of Hendersonville, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, September 24th, 2026, at Hendersonville Medical Center. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather.

Mr. Heyn was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Myrtle Louise Heyn, his daughter Holly Wood, and his parents, Emma and Rudy Heyn.

He is survived by his children Rhonda (Jimmy) Brim, Teresa Smith, Mary Pennington, and Richie (Lisa) Heyn; brothers Jerry Heyn and Billy Heyn; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family members.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, September 29th, 2026, at Sumner Funeral and Cremation Lakeside in Hendersonville, Tennessee, and again on Wednesday, September 30th, 2026, from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at 11:00 AM. Dr. Hubert Cunningham will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Beech Cemetery in Hendersonville, Tennessee.
