Rosie Marie Thornton, age 52, passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2022, in Gallatin, Tennessee.
Rosie Thornton was born on April 19, 1970, to the late Milton Victor Thornton and the late Patricia Ann Grimsley.
She is survived by her soulmate of 34 years, Jack Johnson; children, Tialisa Thrower (Antonio), Walker Steven Johnson, Brandon David Johnson, Chad Carmean (Javene); mother, Karlene (Thornton) Kreger; father, Burl Grimsley; grandchildren, Braelyn and A.J. Thrower, Avalynn and Arianna Carmean, Sophia Quick-Wright; and several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandson, Khenton Thrower.
Rose was a beloved family member who will be missed dearly. She was known as the life of the party. She was a fan of Michigan football, and loved bingo, Karaoke, and most importantly, Jesus.
Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at Sumner Funeral & Cremation Lakeside, 104 Sanders Ferry Road, Hendersonville, TN. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until service time.
