With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Scott Alexander Ingham, who left this world far too soon on July 2, 2025, at the age of 33.
Born on September 20, 1991, Scott was a man with a huge heart and a compassionate soul. He truly knew no stranger—his warmth, kindness, and easygoing nature made everyone feel like a friend. Scott had a deep love for the outdoors, finding peace and joy in camping, fishing, and working on his favorite toys. His hands were always busy, and his heart always full.
Scott loved fiercely, especially when it came to his children, Scarlett Ingham and Holden Ingham, who were the light of his life. He was so blessed with these two beautiful children in his life. His love for them was boundless and he was so grateful for them.
He also loved his Derryberry Family, where he worked and made bonds that were as strong as family and felt like home.
He is survived by his children; Scarlett and Holden; his loving parents, Randall and Sherryl
Ingham of DeTour Village, Michigan; his sisters, Amanda Saunders (and her sons Jacob, Jonathan, and Joshua) and Stacey Schroepfer (and her children Ben and Emily); his grandparents, Ralph and June Ford of Lenox, Michigan; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
Scott was reunited in Heaven with his older brother, Matthew Ingham, and grandparents, Cleva and Harold Ingham, who welcomed him with open arms.
Those who knew Scott will remember his deep loyalty, his infectious laugh, and the way he showed up for the people he loved. He will be missed terribly but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who were lucky enough to know him.
A celebration of life is planned for Sunday, July 13th at 3:00pm to honor Scott’s memory and the love he gave so freely.
