Sherry Kay (Kirby) O'Bryan, beloved wife, mother, and nana passed away at her home in Hendersonville, Tennessee on July 24, 2026 at the age of 74. Sherry was bom July 24,1952 in Nashville, TN and moved to Hendersonville in 1972 after her marriage to Paul O'Bryan. Sherry was a devoted mother to her two children, Rachel (JJ) and Richie. She was a homemaker in every sense of the word. She loved collecting Coca Cola and Christmas decor. (Bonus if they were on clearance or found at a yard sale!). She was an accomplished seamstress who could create almost anything as long as she had her good scissors. She left everyplace and everyone better than she found them. 

Sherry is preceded in death by her Father, Morris Kirby, Mother, Virginia Louise Kirby, brothers Billy Kirby, Vernon Kirby, Thomas Kirby, sisters Dorothy Cook, Peggy Baldessari, nephew Butch Kirby and nieces, Cindy Miller and Kathy Jo Likens.

Sherry is survived by her husband of 53 years, Paul O'Bryan, her children Rachel Kline(Kevin). Paul Richard O'Bryan, Jr, grandchildren Savannah Oregel (Brian), Kaylee Joslyn, Ava Joslyn (Landon), Dylan Kline (Chloe), Emily Lunetta (Chris), Azrael Kline, Katie Kline (Dustin) and great grandchildren Charlotte, Kayden, Stella, Dawson and Evie. 

A visitation will be held on Tuesday July 28, 2026 from 5PM-8PM and Wednesday July 29,2026 from 12PM - 2PM with a Celebration of Life Service immediately following at 2 P.M. at Sumner Funeral and Cremation Lakeside. Interment will follow in Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
