Stacey Lynn Jernigan, age 56 of Gallatin, passed away unexpectedly on February 16, 2026. Born in Gallatin on October 20, 1969, Stacey was a vibrant spirit known for her warmth, generosity, and deep love for her family.
A proud 1987 graduate of Gallatin High School, Stacey embraced life with enthusiasm and a passion for caring for others. She found joy in cooking and baking, often bringing her delectable creations to family gatherings and community events. Her love for movies was also a cherished pastime, providing her moments of relaxation and connection with those she loved. Stacey was a proud grandmother and loved her family dearly.
Stacey is survived by her daughter, Courtney McMahon (Larry) and Morgan Lee (Bradley Groves); parents, Cleo and Shirley Spears; grandchildren, Hayden, Ryleigh and Braelyn McMahon, and Peyton Groves; sister, Amy Anderson (Charles); best friend, Jeannie Franklin; and father, Joe Shrum.
Stacey is preceded in death by her beloved grandparents, Mayner and Allean Spears, Bill and Annie Mae Harris, and Lester and Estelle Shrum. The legacy of her kindness and nurturing spirit will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
The services in honor of Stacey Lynn Jernigan will be held on February 28, 2026, at New Hope Church in Westmoreland, Tennessee. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM, followed by a memorial service at 1:00 PM. Friends and family are invited to gather in remembrance of a remarkable woman who touched the lives of so many.
