Tammy Jean Jones, 56, of Portland, TN, passed away on August 4, 2022, at Alive Hospice in Nashville TN.
She was born on April 4, 1966, in Lebanon, TN, to the late parents Lucy and Phillip Davis .
Tammy was known for her free spirit and acceptance for all. She loved gardening, her grandchildren and Boston Terriers. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by children, Crystal Hackney (Jeff Hackney), Bridgett Jones(Kacey Clayton), Sandi Casteel (Chris Casteel) and Anthony Jones; grandchildren, Vanessa Hackney, Emily Saltz, Bryson Hackney, Zoey Hackney, Elijah Rivera, Lucy Rivera, Sonny Clayton, Malie Brown, Allie Brown, Gregory Casteel, Tesla Casteel, Jason Casteel, Diamond Jones; brothers, Phillip “Bubba” Davis, Dwayne Davis; sister, Denise Butterworth; and a host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her life partner Charlie Green and infant son Mitchell.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at 12:00 noon, with visitation one hour prior starting at 11:00 a.m. at Lambuth Memorial United Methodist Church, 1042 Hartsville Pike, Gallatin.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for monetary donations toward funeral expenses.
