Teresa Lynn Crumpton, age 45 of Hendersonville, was born on October 20, 1980 and went to be with Jesus on July 15, 2026. She was a light into this world. She loved everyone with the love of Jesus. 

Teresa was a member of First Baptist Church Hendersonville, Project 22, and the Special Needs Sports Foundation. She was involved in many activities. She was a greeter at church, where she greeted everyone with a hug. She loved to bowl and loved her dinner with her team mates every week. She didn’t miss time to be with her Project 22 friends, and participated in Night To Shine. She loved her connect group at church and participating in the special friends choir at church where they performed at many nursing homes in the Sumner County area. If there was a place to be and people to see she wanted to be there.

Teresa had many family members that loved her so much and she loved her family. Her nieces and nephews were like siblings to her. She was survived by her mother Donna Pardue and Step-Father Mike Pardue, her father Glenn (Butch) Crumpton and Step-Mother Linda Crumpton, brothers Eugene Crumpton (Gina Crumpton), and Johnathan Crumpton (Dawn Crumpton). Sister Cindy Crumpton-Welch (Chris Welch) and Step-sister Alicia Vandiver, Step-Brothers Shawn Vandiver (Debbie) and Shane Vandiver and Aunt Sherry Jakes. Nieces and nephews Chasity Ferdorka (Zack Ferdorka and Kiley Carver), Victoria Crumpton (Roxy and Lincoln), Ryan Welch (Hannah B. Welch and Aurora and Ellie), Allie Tirey (Jack Tirey), Hannah E. Thompson (Devin Thompson and Parker Jean), Kayla Gillock (Nathan Gillock), Colby Crumpton, Zackary Crumpton, Kaitlyn Shepard (Adam Shepard), Jacob Vandiver, Brandon Vandiver, and Andrew Vandiver, Olivia Vandiver (Mary and Aundrea), Piper Moralez, and many more wonderful family and friends.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. from the Chapel of First Baptist Church Hendersonville with Dr. Bruce G. Chesser officiating. Interment will follow in Hendersonville Memory Gardens. Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday from 11:00 A.M. until time of service at the church.
