Thomas A. "Tom" Gad

Thomas A. “Tom” Gad, age 58 of Hendersonville, passed away November 13, 2022 surrounded by his family at home. Tom was born June 18, 1964 in Chicago, Illinois. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Anita Gad; children, Taryn, Becca, and Thomas; grandson, Eric Gad; mother, Jean M. Gad; brother, Kevin Gad (Heather); nieces and nephews, Jessica Miller, Leigha Gad, Cameron Gad, Alex Gad, Ethan Gad, McCall Moss, and Piper Moss; and a host of other extended family members and friends. Tom was a 1982 Graduate of Father Ryan High School; he later graduated with his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from Middle Tennessee State University. After college he started a career in banking and finance that spanned over 30 years, most of which was at First Horizon. Tom was an avid Notre Dame football fan; he enjoyed spending time with his grandson building trains, loved the beach, and was very unselfish; most importantly Tom loved his family and he will deeply missed. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at 11:30 A.M. from Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. Visitation with the family will be on Thursday from 10:30 A.M. until time of service.
