Victoria Joan Sowder Wilbanks “Vicki”, age 56 of Goodlettsville, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2026 at home surrounded by her family.

Vicki was born on October 11, 1969 in Cincinnati, Ohio to James Donald Sowder and the late Mary Theresa Koop Sowder.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Keith Wilbanks; children, Jamison Wilbanks, Jackson Wilbanks, and Janette Wilbanks; her father, Don Sowder; sisters, Jennifer Lineberger, Amy Cochran (Darren), and Rachel Sowder; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Vicki was a longtime member of First Baptist Church Hendersonville; she enjoyed watching her children play sports; her children were her whole world, and she engaged with and was an adopted/surrogate mother to many of their friends. She also enjoyed historical documentaries, traveling, and spending time with family at the beach.

A celebration of Vicki’s life will be held on Monday, June 29, 2026 at 10:00 A.M. in the Chapel at First Baptist Church Hendersonville with Pastor Bruce Raley officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Vicki will be laid to rest in a private burial service at Larkspur Conservation in Westmoreland, Tennessee.
