William Joe Allsup

William Joe Allsup, age 91 of Hendersonville, passed away peacefully August 22, 2023. Mr. Allsup was born on September 24, 1931 in Dickson, Tennessee to the late Ransom Allsup and the late Etta Mae Tidwell Burch.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Ann Allsup; step-father who raised him, Pat Burch; and his sons, Pat Allsup and Thomas Allsup.

He is survived by his children, Melody Ann Skeens, Blake Shannon Allsup, and Rack Joe Allsup (Ashley Neel Allsup); grandchildren, Jarod Skye Barber, William Chase Allsup (Leah), Hunter Neel Allsup, William Blake Allsup, Grace Ann Allsup, Olivia Shannon Allsup, Addelyn Nicole Allsup, and Angelica Allsup Holley (Shane); and great-grandchild, Gabriel Joseph Holley.

Mr. Allsup was an honest and hardworking man. He was patriotic, a veteran of the US Army Air Corp, an avid fisherman, loved music and singing; most of all he loved his family. He helped managed his wife’s music career for several years and was a Master Mason in the Jere Baxter Lodge in East Nashville.

A Graveside Service will be held 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at Hendersonville Memory Gardens where he will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife.
