Mr. William Herman Carman

July 20, 1943 — June 20, 2016

William "Bill" Herman Carman of Hendersonville, TN died on Monday June 20, 2016. He is proceeded in death by his parents: Coleman & Maggie Carman, one sister: Janelle Carman; and one brother: Bobby Carman. He is survived by the love of his life, Bonnie Cleaveland. He also leaves behind one brother: Winston Coleman Carman, Jr. and two sisters: Dorothy “Dot” Fay Harrison of Dallas, TX and Virginia Raye Parish of Yorkville, IL; Nephews: Trey, Les, Ward, Joshua, and Shelton; Stepchildren: Tim, Tina and Terry Cleaveland.

Bill served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany. He was also a co-owner of the Shack restaurant in Goodlettsville,TN with Bonnie Cleaveland. Bill loved his J & B, Lab dogs, Steak Diane, and last but not least, his time on the golf course. He shot 3 hole-in-ones and a double eagle at the Bluegrass Country Club.

Visitation will be at the Austin & Bell Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday June 23 at 10 AM till 11 AM. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will also be at the Austin & Bell Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 AM on Thursday June 23.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Jude Hospital.
